I love working with people who find joy in the little things
Teaching styling and photography to like-minded people is a great joy of mine. My passion for creating moody and storytelling images is to me an all about the feeling of texture, colours, contrasts and semiotics. All the little things that makes everything come together when creating a photography.
In 2007 I earned my BA(hons) in photography from Bournemouth University, England. Before that I earned a graphic design diploma in Graphic Design from Denmark. For several years I have worked with interior design clients. Now I host and teach styling and photography workshops in Silkeborg, Denmark.

Outdoor still life photography
A sunset or sunrise, the mist on the moors or by the lake. Those are my favourite backgrounds when creating still life images in the nature. Most of my images are photographed in my home town of Silkeborg.
Studio still life photography
My preferred still life studio set up is a dark and moody background, flowers or foliage and beautiful props. I love to create poetic images with the natural light, a tripod and my camera as tools.
Photography workshops
For many years I have taught and hosted styling and photography workshops – both abroad and in Denmark. I always team up with a talented flower designer – mainly the very skilled Fine Fund & Flora.
Memorable projects
2018 was the year that I got my book “Capturing Flowers” published, and I was so lucky to ship it to lovely readers in Europe and the States.
2020 was the year that interior designer Gitte Lykke commissioned me to photograph a floral image to use as wall paper in the Søstrene Grene Cafe, Århus, Denmark.
In 2022 I was contacted by a UK company that sources art work for IKEA. And within a year or two you could buy some of my photographs in IKEA stores worldwide.
2026 and the Danish book “101 kunstnere” was published and I was selected as one of the 101 artists.
