A rhubarb story

This is our first summer in our new home, and I am so excited about our garden projects and plans. We have a fantastic rhubarb, and yesterday for the first time, I harvested some of it to make a rhubarb pie.

Early this morning I took the pie, cutlery, plates, flowers and a linen table cloth to our forest just a stone throw away from our home. I wanted to capture the pie in the morning light in the beautiful surroundings of the newly sprung trees.
Last week I found out, that we have a cherry tree in the garden too. And we have planted blue berries as well, and hoping to plant an apple and pear tree too. I am so loving this new garden life, and feeling very blessed and thankful.
